*I don't know why this was shown in the International Cinema since it's clearly not international but whatever.*
Then we went to Sammy's to eat dinner. It's a little hole in the wall place on 100 West by Center Street. I decided that I like little hole in the wall places. We got free fountain drinks, free fries, and free add-ons on our burgers. And we also stayed and talked to the girl that worked there for an hour after we were done with our food. She was giving us ideas of what to do on a Friday night, one of her ideas comes into the story later. So after that we went to Spark where I had a mango mojito (pictured below). *Quite good but take out the crap load of mint leaves they stick in it*
After Spark we decided to go dancing, on top of the Wells Fargo parking garage. Just the three of us. It was really fun until a lady started watching us from her apartment. She first came out onto her balcony and then moved to get a better view of us from her bedroom window. So there she is, a dark silhoutte in the window, blinds open, lights on, looking at us. Um, creeper! That's when we decided we should probably leave and she watched us drive away. Creepy, creepy lady.
Saturday, I had planned to go down to the Manti temple but it was a no go :(Meagan, Jacqueline, and I were heading off bright and early at 8 AM but then I had the brilliant idea of calling Manti to make sure we could come. It's a good thing we did because it would have been a drive in vain. They only take appointments and they were full for the day. So instead we decided to take our trip up north and went to the Bountiful Temple. It was a beautiful day!
After the temple we had lunch at Hires Big H in Salt Lake and then went shopping at The Gateway. We only bought 1 thing, well actually 2, and they are for Kelsey's bridal shower :) Can you guess what we bought?
On our drive back down to Provo we stopped at Ikea where I got this little baby for a buck, originally priced at $4. They had bigger ones but were sold out of them by the time I got there. It was disappointing. We also stopped at Walmart and DI on the way. I bought Twilight and spent that night watching all the extra features.
Sunday was spent in church and then the Draper Temple dedication broadcast. That was the 3rd or 4th temple dedication I've been to and I'm hoping to add the Oquirrh Mountain Temple to the list later on this year.
It was made even better with the perfect weather but then it changed again on Sunday afternoon. So much for the beginning of Spring being last Friday. The weekend was truly spring like up until Sunday when the cold blew back in :(
Stupid Utah and it's deceiving weather.
Oh well, I'm here on my own free will.
