Land O' Hippies: Day 2

Seattle!!!
Another sunny day (thank you Washington)!

We drove to Sea-Tac and picked John up from the airport, drove to Safeco Field and bought tickets for that night's Mariners/As game.

We walked around Seattle all day. Longest walk of my life. We parked at the SAM and walked down to the waterfront.
Then we looped around to Pike Place.

After that we decided we would walk to the Space Needle.
It was too expensive to go up it so we went to the experience the music museum thing that's right next door.

We saw a Nirvana exhibit (appropriate) and had a jam session where we mainly just gave John a headache.
I had to help John with this drugs.

Then we went to the game!
The Mariners aren't very good, at all. We decided we'd had enough at the top of the 6th inning when they were down 9 to 1. Yeah.

So then we went exploring for the Troll.

Land O' Hippies: Day 1

We arrived in Lacey (where Katie's family lives) around 3:30 AM Friday morning and crashed.

We awoke 5 hours later to a lovely, sunny day and headed out to Olympia.
Land O' Hippies. Seriously. I wanted to hose people down. It's allowed, encouraged even, to bathe in the human world. Do it people. It's not a luxury anymore. Also, please don't buy clothing with holes. It's not cool to dress like you jumped into a dumpster.

We walked around downtown Olympia, went into a few shops and I came out with
vintage purse from a shop called Finders Keepers Antique. The purse is in the bag in my hand.

We had lunch at Old School Pizza,
walked around some more, and called it a day. We were still exhausted so we went back to the house and napped. Once we semi caught up on our beauty sleep we went to dinner with Katie's family at Red Robin, yum! and watched a movie.

Thus concludes day 1.

Lone Gonzalez

Andrea and Dylan were married on April 9th in the Oquirrh Mountain Temple.

It was great minus the terrible weather so we (they) weren't able to take very many pictures.
(you can't really see the snow in the picture)

They then had their reception at Noah's in South Jordan which included a crepe bar and lots of dancing. That's how we Mexicans do it...the dancing.

Yes I danced with children all night :)

It was fun having my family around but I really wish when the day comes for my wedding I can just elope. Probably not, but here's to wishing.

It's official

I'm off to Seattle.

Can I just say how happy I am to get out of Utah for a weekend? Work dragged on all week in anticipation of this trip.

I best not be disappointed.

I'll try to have lots to post about next week. But who knows...it is me after all.

I like referring back to old posts

Like this one

Why? Because I am now the Relief Society President.

Yes I totally freaked out when I got the call but have calmed down since then.

I know the Lord prepares and blesses those in His service. I'm seriously counting on that...and also on the awesome girls that are in the presidency with me.

Apparently dreams/wishes come true

This, I-don't-know-what-to-call-it, acutally happened.

It was weird and awesome all at the same time.

TMI? Probably. But what is a blog for if not to talk about myself.

Shabby Apple

Shabby Apple had a trunk sale yesterday in South Jordan and I bought 2 dresses.

First up is the Scarlett Raven.
Online this dress was originally priced $118.00 but on sale for $94.40.
I bought it for $40.
Saved $54.40.

And then there was Jacob's Pillow. This dress is fitted and super flattering. It pretends I have curves :)
Priced $94.00 online.
I paid $40.
Saved $54.

It was a pretty good day.
I'm excited to wear a new dress on Sunday.

little bit obsessed

I have become obsessed. Like I can't function because I think about it so much.

SUSHI!

It may be the most delicious thing on the planet.

Well, aside from Mexican food....

Maybe I should open up a Mexican/Sushi restaurant.
